Laboratory for seed health and germination testing at the Institute for Vegetable Crops, Smederevska Palanka deals with testing of physical, chemical and biological properties of seeds as well as sampling of agricultural plant seeds. It was first accredited by the Accreditation Body of Serbia (ATS) for these activities in 2009. Accreditation is continuously maintained and renewed every four years. This year, after the visit of the members of the ATS team, it was confirmed that the Seed Testing Laboratory meets the requirements of the SRPS ISO / IEC 17025: 2017 standard and that it is competent to perform testing tasks specified in the current edition of the Accreditation Scope. On this occasion, the Laboratory was awarded a Certificate of Accreditation, which extends the accreditation for the next four years and is valid until October 2025.
