Biljana Šević (Janošević), PhD, Research Associate was born in Belgrade in 1980.
She finished the first degree of academic studies at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Agronomy in 2012 by defending thesis ,, The influence of the spatial distribution of plants on the productivity of the joint crop of corn and soybeans“ gaining the degree in agricultural engineering for arable farming.
She finished Doctoral academic studies at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Agronomy in 2021 by deffenging the doctoral thesis ,, Agroecological and agronomic importance of cover crops in a sustainable system of growing maize hybrids with specific properties“ gaining the doctoral degree in biotechnical sciences.
She bacame the Research Associate in 2022.
Since 2023 she was employed at the Institute for Vegetable Crops Smederevska Palanka at the Department of Genetics and Vegetable Breeding.
In 2008, she received the "Student Generation" award and diploma from the Department of Agriculture at the Faculty of Agriculture in Zemun, University of Belgrade.
So far, as an author and co-author, she has published 11 works.
Narrower scientific field: horticulture, genetics and breeding of peppers, sustainable agriculture, combining crops.
