The General Manager of the Institute Mr. Almir Muhovic, PhD strongly supports scientific cooperation of our Institute with other institutions for high education. Last Thursday, we hosted the delegation from the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade: professor Đorđe Fira, PhD, Senior Research Assistant Ivica Dimkic, PhD, Miloš Džebrić, MSci and molecular biologist Dejan Lazić. They spoke to our Director Mr. Muhovic and our young researcher Miss Ivana Zivkovic, MSci, and Mr. Milan Ugrinovic, PhD.

Mr. Muhovic said that the Institute tries to establish a good cooperation with other scientific institutions and research centers and said that he hopes that this cooperation will continue through further research projects and technical cooperation.

Specific forms of scientific cooperation between the Institute of Vegetables and the Faculty of Biology of the University of Belgrade have been agreed: training, learning in the field of phytopathology, determination and sequencing of the collection of fungi and bacteria isolated from our vegetable species, based on good scientific practice.

As part of the visit, scientists from the Faculty of Biology visited the experimental field of the Institute, greenhouses, as well as the laboratories that are a key prerequisite for the future realization of the planned scientific research work.
