Marija Gavrilovic, PhD, Research Associate
Marija Gavrilovic, PhD was born in 1983 in Loznica. She graduated at Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade in 2009.
In October 2009 she enrolled Doctoral Academic Studies at the same Faculty and finished them in December 2016 by defending the Doctoral thesis "Influence of physical properties of mineral fertilizers on the centrifugal spreaders working quality and energy balance of the plant production".
Marija Gavrilović was a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Serbia from 2010 to 2014. As a schoolarship holder and a doctoral student she participated at the Project of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Serbia no TR 20076 " Improvement and preservation of agricultural resources in the function of rational use of energy and quality of agricultural production ". Head of the project was Professor Milan Devic, PhD. After that, she participated at the project TR 31051 "Improvement of biotechnological procedures in the function of rational use of energy, increase of productivity and quality of agricultural products", financed by Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Serbia. Head of the project was Professor Zoran Mileusnic, PhD. During studies, she received the award from the Foundation “Nikola Spasic” as the best student of the third year of study at the Faculty of Agronomy (2008), and the award from the Faculty of Agronomy (Belgrade University) as the best student of the fourth year of study (2009). She was named the best student at the Faculty of Agriculture in school year 2008/2009 and received, as such the award from the Foundation Dr Karl Schleinzer, University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, Vienna, for environmental researches (2010).
She works at the Institute for Vegetable Crops since April 2021 as a Research Associate and the Head of the Department for Plant Protection.
